Bukit Sriβ―Bintang is an accessible, lowβelevation hike that's adored by locals and Capy Crew! We really liked the spectacular views and wide vistas throughout the hike. Apply adequate sun protection though as shade is sparse.

How to get there
The trailhead is located at Jalan 11/36, Taman Sri Bintang. It is recommended to drive or carpool to the location. There are no designated parking lots. Most people would just park at the side of the road, so do come early to secure a parking spot.

The hike
The hike consists of two distint peaks and a few valleys, but the distance between them is rather short with very moderate inclines. One of our more energetic Capy Crewmate, Doris, even sprinted the entire trail!

On clear days, the first peak gives panoramic views of transit arteries like the NKVE, and Kuala Lumpur's famous landmarks such as the Petronas Twin Towers, KL Tower, and TRX Exchange. We were also greeted by warm encouragement from fellow hikers and occasional friendly dogs roaming the area.

We then descended and proceeded along a valley. We took this chance to catch a breath and enjoy some well-deserved shaded spots.

The second peak is cooler and shadier. This spot features a community garden, a makeshift outdoor gym, and an area to lepak with stone tables and benches. It's the perfect place for a little picnic after the hike!

We then retraced our steps back to the entrance using the same route.
Final Thoughts
We truly enjoyed this trail given its very moderate inclines and mostly well-paved steps. The spectacular views and an area to relax at the second peak make this place truly one-of-a-kind. The Capy Crew chilled and chit-chatted as time seemingly flew by at the second peak. We'll definitely be back here in the future!
